Absolutely fantastic rental shop. The deposit may be higher, but in return you get a bike that’s in great shape, responsive staff who will help every step along the way. Got 2x CRFs for a tour around Isaan and had zero issues!Will be back for more
We had a great experience with Big Bike for our 40 days of rental! Both Steve and Bernard took good care of us. We needed tires pretty early in and Bernard got us lined up with a mechanic. It went smoothly and we were out in about 1.5 hours. We did pay for the paperwork to go into Cambodia and had no issues whatsoever, but Bernard said he’d be available to help had we needed it. The bikes were dependable and got us around well on our 3,738 mile / 6,016 km adventure!
Rented 3 bikes from these guys and they were fantastic. They were extremely accommodating for us. Every time we came they gave us cold drinks which was a very nice touch. Keep in mind you have to give a cash deposit in the amount of 40,000 baht (around $1,150 usd) You will get the deposit back in whichever currency you give them when you return the bike.
The Honda CRF300L motorcycle I rented was in very good condition and reliably carried me over 5186 km.Handover and return were quick and easy. A good address that I would happily recommend. We taked Honda 2CRF 300L for two weeks to explore the north of Thailand. Everything was great. The bikes was in perfect technical condition. We have no problems during our 2500 km trip. So, I definitely suggest this company to rent a bike.

The owner, Berend, treated me well. I rented a CX500B for 3 months and put a little over 10,000 miles on it. The bike ran flawless. Easy to deal with. I will be back to rent again. He was very responsive every time I sent him a text on keeping the bike longer.. I visited all but 3 of the 77 Providence of Thailand.

These guys are the absolute bosses in motorbike rentals in Bangkok. I dont think anyone beats them, and I say this very confidently after having rented across many countries, that this was the best motorbike rental experience. Ever.. and that’s it. Period.No other rental experience even comes close to the experience we had from these guys.As first-time renters in Thailand, we were obviously a bit careful and did a lot of research ourselves.. The reason we chose to go with BigBikeRental is only because of the confidence that Steve and Bernd instilled in us.They were very patient with our long list of questions.. trust me, I wouldn’t have been this cool if I was the owner, and I got so many questions…lolThe motorbikes were excellent.. almost brand new. They have more than 2 dozen different types of motorbikes ranging from the scooters to maxi scooters and ADVs and some fast nakeds too.. The whole process of handing over the bikes and collecting the deposit was quick. No time is wasted, and Steve is an absolute legend.. very friendly.. very witty. We left the place with a big smile.Bernd, the owner, is a superbiker himself and has done his share of riding across the world. We all 4 friends planned a bike trip from Thailand to Ban Rak Thai and back, completing the loop. On the internet when we searched we got to know about Big Bike Rental. We 1st were not keen but then decided to contact BigBike Rental and then a lot of emails were exchanged with we having a lot of questions but all were answered, a few of them we came to kmow later but that was also taken care. The big bike rental is an awasome place to hire some good big bikes if you want to go biking to the north area. We had hired 4 bikes, Honda ADV, Honda CB500X and 2 Honda Transalp. The condition of all bikes were as good as new. The tyres were like new with the proper grip. All bikes were serviced and there were no issues in the entire 6 days of trip where we covered 2000Kms.The process of getting the bikes, deposites and the returs were very easy. Steve and Bernd and their entire team helped us whatever we were needed. We also kept our suitecase for 6 days as we had transfered all our luggage to the panniers.Overall great experience with Big Bike Rental and we as a group of 4 would definitely suggest others to go and hire bikes from here.

Be aware. Need 40 000 bth with copy passeport or real passeport with 10 000 bth for deposit. I pay 4 days rental … next morning i come back to be refound because i not happy about bike and don’t want give my money back. I find other thai rental owner and only 3000 bth with copy passeport. Compagny reply to my whatsapp after reading my complain. I had a great hire experience with Big Bike Rentals. All the way from paying a deposit months before our hire, to the day we arrived, the hire process and staff were lovely, I had a small parts failure and they couriered parts to my location 7hrs out of Bangkok and organised the replacement at a local workshop and i was back on the road in the matter of hours.

I’ve had the pleasure to rent Honda CB500X and CB300R from Big Bike Rental Bangkok a few times and they provide very good service. Both bikes were in a good condition, especially compared to bikes of other rental shops in BKK. The guys are bilingual and communication never was an issue. I find their rates the best in town and definitely will rent from them again.
We rented the yellow X Max for 2 days and really enjoyed our stay in Bangkok. I would recommend big bike rental for everyone who wants to rent a motorbike in Bangkok. The service was great and the staff were helpful!

rented a Honda cbx500 from these guys. for a little extra they delivered it to me in Pattaya, bike was awesome. did heaps of riding all the way up north and through the mountains. the transaction was smooth, communication with the owner was excellent.

As a group of friends, we rented the bikes (4x CB500X) for a trip to Kao Yai. Wonderful experience made even easier, thanks to the professionalism of the BBRB staff. Bernd was really responsive and helpful. The bikes perfectly prepared, gear and boxes sets perfect. A breath of oxygen in Bangkok’s jungle. We highly recommend BBRB.

Just got back from a 6 day trip through Cambodia. Set it up 2 months earlier and Bernd was very accommodating to some changes I made before getting the bikes. Had a slight hiccup getting into Cambodia but Bernd was in contact the whole time until we were able to get in. Bikes were very nice and performed like champs. Overall a great experience and we would definitely use Bernd again.

Bernd was extremely responsive in answering my emails and working with me to reserve the bike. My trip was pretty last minute, so my first choice was taken, and since he was emailing me late night local time while not in the office but during my afternoon in the US, the second bike which we settled on turned out to have been rented at the end of the day and he wasn’t aware. No problem, because he upgraded me to a better bike but at the price we had already agreed upon. Awesome! I arrived and saw the bike outside, impeccably clean with a full tank, clean and lubed chain, good tire pressure and 100% ready to go. A quick 10 minute paperwork session and I was on my way. Bike ran flawlessly for the nearly 1000 miles I put on it, didn’t skip a beat. I would absolutely recommend them and will be renting again from Bernd on my next trip. Bike was the CBR 650, and turned out to be one hell of a head turner. Can’t wait for the next trip, thanks again Bernd!

Literally one of the best experiences I have with renting a big bike. =) Bernd is kind, helpful, calm, accommodating and easy to deal with throughout the entire transaction. No fuss, no issues. I rented a Honda CB500X from Bernd at the end of December 2016. The bike was in a top condition. So I drove to Koh Chang. This bike consumes very little fuel and the 48 hp is sufficient. Was great fun. Big Bike Rental Bangkok has done a very good job! Gladly again! Norman from Switzerland
Hired a Kawasaki Verys 650 from Bernard in November 2016 and rode north east Thailand for 10 days. Service was prompt,efficient and the bike was in “tip top” condition. Bernard is a nice bloke and very easy to deal with.I will certainly hire a machine from him again.
